Your vault stays on your device
Vault records are encrypted and stored locally—not uploaded to a SAARapps server.
A clear explanation of how SAARapps Vault Notes handles the passwords, cards, identity documents, medical records and private notes you choose to protect on your Android device.
Vault records are encrypted and stored locally—not uploaded to a SAARapps server.
Information leaves the app only when you deliberately copy, export, back up or share it.
No advertising, developer analytics database, behavioral tracking, sale or rental of your vault data.
SAARapps Vault Notes is developed by SAARapps. This Privacy Policy explains how the Android application handles information. The app is designed to work offline, does not require a SAARapps account, and does not send your vault content to a developer-operated server.
This policy applies to SAARapps Vault Notes, package com.saarsoft.vaultnotes. It covers information you enter, generate, import, organize or export through the app and the device features used to protect that information.
Depending on the features you use, vault content may include:
SAARapps does not collect, receive, sell or share this vault content. It remains under your control on your device unless you deliberately export, copy, back up or share it.
Vault content is stored in the app's private local storage and protected using AES-256 encryption. The app does not synchronize the vault with a SAARapps cloud service. Network access is not required to create, view, search or edit vault records.
Your Master PIN is used locally to protect access to the app. If you enable biometric unlocking, Android performs the biometric check and returns an authentication result. SAARapps Vault Notes does not access or store your raw fingerprint, face scan or other biometric template.
Keep your Master PIN safe. Because SAARapps does not hold your vault or PIN on a server, SAARapps cannot remotely retrieve your vault or recover a forgotten credential.
The password generator works locally. When you choose Copy Password or copy another value, Android places that value on the device clipboard so you can paste it elsewhere. The app may clear copied vault content automatically when clipboard auto-clear is enabled. Other keyboards, accessibility services or apps with clipboard access are controlled by your device and may process clipboard contents under their own policies.
Data leaves the app only when you initiate an action such as creating a backup, exporting an encrypted PDF, copying a value or sharing a file. You choose the destination. A file manager, cloud-storage provider, print service, messaging app or recipient you select may process the exported information under its own privacy terms.
Delete exported files from their destination separately when you no longer need them. SAARapps cannot access or delete files stored outside the app.
The app uses Android system capabilities only when needed for a feature you request, such as biometric authentication, opening or saving an exported file, or sharing content. Access is limited by Android's permission and document-picker controls. The app does not use these capabilities to upload vault content to SAARapps.
Google Play and the Android operating system may independently process installation, update, security, device or diagnostic information according to Google's policies. SAARapps does not receive your vault contents through those services. Any third-party app or service you intentionally select for export, backup, printing or sharing operates under its own privacy policy.
The current app does not contain advertising, a developer analytics database, behavioral profiling or cross-app tracking. SAARapps does not sell, rent or monetize your personal information or vault content.
Vault records remain on your device until you delete individual records, use Delete All Data, clear the app's storage or uninstall the app. Exported backups and PDFs remain wherever you saved or shared them and must be deleted from those locations separately.
Because SAARapps does not keep a server copy of your vault, there is no SAARapps account or remote vault record to delete. Local deletion cannot be reversed unless you previously created a usable backup.
The app uses local encryption, app-private storage, Master PIN protection, optional Android biometric authentication, configurable auto-lock and clipboard auto-clear. No security method can guarantee absolute protection against a compromised, rooted, unlocked or physically accessed device.
Use a strong device lock and unique Master PIN, install trusted software only, review sharing destinations, and securely store or delete exports and backups.
SAARapps Vault Notes is a general privacy and productivity utility and is not directed to children. SAARapps does not knowingly collect children's personal information through a developer-operated server.
We may update this Privacy Policy when app functionality, security practices or legal requirements change. The revised policy will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
